Wonderful photos, great range of topics

After my son (5 years old) became fascinated with this book from the library, we decided to purchase our own copy. Although he is still a bit young to understand all of the text, he loves examining the colorful, assorted photos. I'd highly recommend this book to anyone whose child loves to discover new information about the world-- its graphics and easy to read information really supplement their curiosity and help spark conversations about a diverse range of topics: from human body to gems to animal life to flags of the world!

This is the best book ever!

My 3.5 year old son had loved this book for the last six months or so. It has the best pictures and information in it. After having it checked out from the library forever, we finally bought it. my son looks through it and asks questions everyday! We have started many different games, including pretending to be red blood cells. His knowledge of the human body came from his "million things book." I cannot recommend it enough. We take it on all trips and looooove it. Buy it today!

Great book for kids and parents

I felt so proud that I ordered a good book for my kids, that I asked my husband to take a long. An hour later I had to pry him away to go do bedtime with them. This is a great book that I can't stop putting down. My 4 year old isn't terribly interested in it, but I'm still working with her on it. I love the pictures in it. I love that there's just a short paragraph about each topic. I love how the different paragraphs are placed together on a page to illustrate how they might be related. I've learned a lot from this book and plan on keeping it around for quite a while.
