The boy’s eyes widened as he stepped closer, and Damion could feel the edge of fear there before he seemed to gather himself. The desperation was obvious as he shifted forward, his light frame clearly struggling in the cold evening. His eyes raised slowly, big against his thin face as he looked back at Damion.
“Please…I’ll do anything for a bit of food…some shelter for the night…please, sir…”
Then he stepped forward, his deliberate glance down Damion’s powerful body making it obvious what he intended by “anything”. The other man snorted, pushing him away easily and shaking his head, any sympathy he might have felt overwritten by the evening he’d had.
“You don’t have a clue what ‘anything’ means, boy.”
Distracted by the thoughts of the things he really wanted, he turned away, dismissing the beggar as he reached for his phone, preparing to call Mike to take him home. He had no appetite for lingering on these streets any longer.
To his surprise, the boy came forward again, this time the fear more obvious but clearly overwhelmed by a greater need, his attitude hesitant but resigned.
“Please, I mean it, sir…anything, I promise.”
Damion’s eyes narrowed as he looked back, suddenly considering. His eyes swept over the small build, his body dirty and worn but with a hint of prettiness that he’d probably traded on before – no doubt the reason for his previous ‘offer’.
He’d never really been interested in guys before, but there was something about this helpless offer that was tapping into all the frustrated desire he’d been facing the last few months. He shifted a little, his cock suddenly interested in the idea of what he might be able to do with a guy who really was willing to do anything. Short and smoking hot. Love Damion's dominant POV. It can be hard to find a good characterization of a sadist that doesn't go too far, but this one is perfect. I'm off to read books 2 and 3!

Great start! Love how Damien sees Connor and is turned on by how helpless and vulnerable he is, rather than feel pity or want to help. Such a glorious sadist he is! Making Connor ride in the trunk was so humiliating and mean, I loved it. Also liked the shower scene.
